The traditional celebration of “Festa dei Ceri” takes place on the
beautiful frame of Gubbio. At the same time you can celebrate the
“Calendimaggio” in Assisi. JUNE:
Every year the market of “Gaite” takes place in Bevagna, which is a
typical medieval celebration, while in Spello everybody prepares the
famous “Infiorata”. JULY:
Perugia opens its doors to the world of music with the yearly
performance of “Umbria Jazz”. AUGUST:
Again in Gubbio for the “Torneo dei Quartieri”, a crossbow
competition. DECEMBER:
Everybody in Gubbio to marvel at the world’s biggest Christmas tree. Apart
from that, the whole summer offers lots of festivities and events, at
which you may try delicious italian food, join popular games, watch acts
or visit open air cinemas.
